One problem continues to bewitch my web browsing: whenever Safari (or another browser, but to a lesser extent) across a flash movie, my Macbook gets hot . What bearable if you watch a video of a couple of minutes on Youtube, much less if you look at a longer streaming on YouTube, which promptly causes a thermal shutdown.
A quick web search leads to many results as the official Apple support forum or Moose56 , which also provides a workaround to the problem.
The problem is not resolved by upgrading Adobe's Flash Player latest version (10.0.32.18).
We hope that with the new release 10.6.2 the problem is solved, along with movies 1080p falter QuickTime X. Insight: the workaround proposed by Moose56 in his blog is the installation of ClicktoFlash a useful plugin for Safari that allows you to activate the flash movies on a page only after clicking, and thus preventing the automatic loading. The small software also provides options to view movies in high quality by default, and (if available) to view them through Quicktime H.264 format.
